| Welcome to Music's Cool Day Camp! |
Not only will students learn to play musical instruments, but they will learn to love and appreciate music at Music’s Cool Day Camp! Many children dream of playing in a band and at this camp, that dream becomes a reality for everyone. Performing in a band is one of the most popular aspects of the Music's Cool Day Camp experience.
On the first day of camp the students are grouped into bands according to their age, playing ability, and the style of music they prefer to perform. Every day the students rehearse with their band under the guidance of our professional trained and educated staff. Students learn performance techniques such as: dynamics; understanding song form, work together in a group; communication skills; and how to deliver the song in a performance. The camp ends with a final concert for family and friends
Music's Cool Day Camp is open to students ages 6 - 11 & ages 12 – 16
Beginners / Intermediate & Advanced.
Music’s Cool Day Camp will offer three 2-week sessions:
Session A: June 11 - June 22,
Session B: June 25 - July 6,
Session C: July 9- July 20 2012.
Camp will run from 9am – 3pm with before and after
care available
Students will receive T-Shirts, CDs with their own recorded music, and will
enjoy musical videos and group games.
